# Logout

In order to keep your account secure properly logging out is just as important as a strong password. Always make sure to logout after you're done using the app, especially if you're on a shared device.

To logout click on your user profile in the sidebar and click Logout. You'll be redirected back to the login page confirming you were successfully logged out.

Now you can safely close the browser tab or simply navigate away.
