# Introduction

In order to reset your forgotten password (once you've requested a password reset as described here) you'll need to follow the instructions sent to the registered e-mail address. This ensures you made the request yourself and are not a victim of malicious activity.

The e-mail we send will contain a reset link in the following form (where [code] is a unique 20 character reset code):

# Follow the link

Click on the link in the e-mail to open the password reset page. The reset code will be automatically pre-filled for you.

Alternatively you can enter the code manually by directly opening the password reset page and typing it into the Activation Code field.

# Submit the form

Fill in the rest of the fields with your user information and click the Reset Password to finalize the process.

If the code is valid, you'll get a success notification and your password will be updated immediately.

Fill in a memorable password you'll use to login.

We don't have any requirements to the symbols you use in your password, but we do require that you choose a non-common, strong password for better security.

As you type, a progress bar will tell you how strong your password is and how you can make it even stronger.

Repeat the same value you've used in the Password field.
Re-typing your password minimizes the chances you've accidentally entered a wrong symbol.

Once you've successfully updated your password you'll be ready to login and begin using the app.

# Troubleshooting

Here's a list of common issues you might encounter and their solutions.

One of the most common reasons why you're not receiving e-mails from us is that your e-mail provider might be marking them as spam.

If you worry this could be the case, make sure to check your spam folder, mark e-mails as "not-spam", and possibly whitelist [email protected], if your provider supports it.

If you're still not receiving any e-mails from us after more than 30 minutes, contact us directly at: [email protected].

Some e-mail providers might strip URLs and make links non-clickable. If this is the case for you, you can manually copy the URL and paste it into your browser's address bar to open it.

Reset codes have a short lifespan, so once enough time passes they expire and become invalid. This and also a simple mistyping of the code can result in an invalid reset code error.
