Mautic instances are restricted to a certain amount of resources they can use such as number of contacts.
Delegating these resources is a manual process you do yourself based on the needs of each individual instance.
Your subscription plan provides a pool of resources you can share between instances as you see fit.
When first created each Mautic instance gets assigned a minimum amount of each resource. Raising these amounts is up to you.
To increase / decrease the available resources to an instance click the gearbox icon next to it and click Delegate Resources.
Use the sliders to select the new value for each resource and then click Save.
The instance will be gracefully restarted to reflect the update, which can take up to several minutes.
Here's a list of common issues you might encounter and their solutions.
Every resource has a ceiling value, which depends on the currently available / unused amounts within your subscription.
If you need to delegate more of a resource either upgrade to a bigger subscription plan, or delegate less of the resource on one of your other instances.
Each resource has an absolute minimum value past which you cannot decrease further.
In addition, once your instances start utilizing the delegated resources you will not be able to decrease them past the number already in use by the instances. You can see your current usage in the instance list page, or in the instance's detail page.
Decreasing your instance's resource usage will allow you to decrease the delegated number as well (it can take up to a few minutes for updated usages to be reflected).
